Events
During the week of February 22-26, Mr. Daryl Williams and Dr. Lena Rodriguez traveled to Washington, D.C. for UEP Capitol Hill Week, a newly institutionalized advocacy program that will occur two to three times a year.
Our objective for this first visit was to meet with various congressmen/women, senators, legislators and area business people to establish awareness of the UEP and our work in various cities. Although our time in D.C. was short, we covered a great deal of ground, identified new opportunities and opened doors for future collaborations. Our meetings were met with great interest, enthusiasm, and support.
